MEET THE TEAM

Tony Khoury | Chief Executive Officer

Tony is responsible for overseeing the administration, planning and day-to-day operations of the company. Specifically, Tony's focus as Operations partner is to create the appropriate team whose skills match the specific client and project insuring adequate administrative, financial, and technical resources.

As the lead member of the budget development, estimating team, Tony is expert in evaluating and identifying areas for potential cost savings and schedule acceleration. Tony is responsible for reviewing drawings and documents during design development to determine the effect on final estimates, trade-by-trade schedules and bidder lists including material costs and labor availability.

Prior to forming the company, Tony has worked in almost every facet of the construction business representing both building owners and construction companies. He has built a range of projects from offices, retail, large public works, and petroleum projects, to a 30 unit national roll-out for a major restaurant company. Tony received his BS and Masters in Civil Engineering, and has been in the construction business 15 years.

Tony's ability to interact well with owners on a one-to-one basis, his knowledge of the industry, engineering background, depth of business relationships and strong belief in people stand as the backbone of KHOURY CONSTRUCTION

Chris Korczak | General Superintendent

As General Superintendent Chris is responsible for the coordination of all site activities, subcontractors, labor, schedule adherence, quality control, and inspections. Chris reviews and interprets all construction drawings making suggestions during the review process to address potential conflicts and cost saving opportunities. Additionally Chris participates in the buy-out and scheduling of the project; researching and sourcing suppliers, confirming costs and discussing best practices for schedule planning.

Chris is a working master carpenter and electrician who has extensive site supervision and management experience. Chris has been in construction for 25 years. He has played a strong or principal role in the past with several general contracting companies. He brings a wealth of field experience and a personable manner that exemplifies what KHOURY CONSTRUCTION provides to its client's.


Mike Tabatadai | General Superintendent

Mike is one of KHOURY CONSTRUCTION'S finest field superintendents. He has amassed over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, providing quality services and know-how on numerous projects. Mike's consistently on-time project delivery is the result of his outstanding site supervision and use of tools such as preparing daily site logs, requisitions and material orders. Mikes record for onsite safety practices through subcontractor meetings is unblemished.

Mike is responsible for the management of daily site activities including, subcontractors, labor resources, schedule adherence, quality control, and inspections. Mike works with closely with the Project Manager in the bid/buy-out and scheduling of the project; sourcing suppliers, confirming costs and discussing best practices for delivering a high quality construction project. Mike's trained eye for quality in workmanship and material attests to his professionalism. He is a key asset in motivating and initiating positive performance from trade contractors and the entire team.


Winces Velasquez | Project Superintendent

has been in the construction industry for over 12 years. He has a variety of experience ranging from plumbing, electrical, to every aspect of construction. Winces has been self-employed with his own construction company for over 7 years and he joined the Khoury team in the middle of 2004.

Some of Winces’ major strengths include project organization and detail management.

His contributions include: the development of Dunkin Donuts in Elmhurst, Coggins in FairFax, VA and the building of Custom Homes in Milford, Conn.


Bill Kalaani | Estimator

has been in charge of technology and development for Khoury construction. His educational background with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration has made Bill a valuable asset as a chief Estimator.

Bill has developed a project tracking system using custom computer softwares that will give you a precise scheduling and cost breakdown unmatched by any other system in the industry today. He has attributed much of his excellent project workmanship to his extensive background with many other developing firms from France, Lebanon and Australia.

Today, Bill’s high level of dedication has added to the spotless record of efficiency by managing all financial, material sourcing and building management systems for all projects.


Rima Khoury | Designer

The backbone of Khoury’s creative source belongs to the driving force of Khoury’s main business framework; Rima Khoury flexes her artistic talents by contributing interior designs and renderings. Her body of work contains an elaborate array of genres from contemporary to post-modern to neoclassic interiors. Furthermore, her vocational background as an Educator provides the advantage of communication between clients and the development staff.

For 2005, Rima is underway an array of designs for the development of an undisclosed ethnic restaurant in NYC – the prototype platform for a worldwide campaign.
